“Comparison is the thief of joy.”

As hard as it is, we shouldn’t compare ourselves with anyone else when we run (or do anything else in life). This includes comparing ourselves with ourselves as we think we should be or how we used to be (when we were younger).

In each moment if we simply try our ‘best,’ we can accept any outcome because we couldn’t do anything more/better/etc.
